So simple

A moment as unconstrained as a forgetful lucid unwarranted worry
Passes unnoticed by its beholder, dissipating from memory as rapid as its origin
The images scalpel slices the image into my being
Cauterized by fear, bandaged by wonder
A moment’s simplicity holds me fast unwarrenting its release
I have so much, I want so little
What others discover in spades with ease
I have failed to grasp, draining through trembling fingers
Seeking of a crystalline luster
A sweetness unyielding
Uncountable touch of lips stolen
Unaccountable for hopes broken
Intoxication I seek
In my own I do not believe
A breath upon my face
Fingers interlacing
Honest eyes extracting unspoken truth
tranquil voices washing away
what seems a distant dream
offering life and crimson tides
for but one honest kiss for none but me.
